Our minds are so very powerful and quite often can be that inner critic! Perhaps that little voice tells you that you can’t achieve something or that you shouldn’t even try! Maybe it says you shouldn’t do anything for yourself; that you don’t have time; that you have other responsibilities.
Often we are so busy with life happening that we don’t even realise that we are not looking after our own well-being. Sometimes we feel stressed, anxious or don’t sleep well and just accept it as part of life. If we don’t look after ourselves we will sooner or later burn ourselves out, become totally overwhelmed, and make it impossible for us to look after others also.
It isn’t selfish to look after you, to give yourself permission to have some time out and think about your well-being.
So… It’s time to learn to quieten that voice, it’s time to reconnect with you!
When we reconnect with ourselves and look after ourselves then we find balance and energy in the rest of our life. Take the first step today and put this date in your diary.
During this four hour workshop we will – acknowledge that critical inner voice and be kind to ourselves practice self-help techniques for our well-being to use on a daily basis; reaffirm the positives in our lives and think about our personal goals; enjoy fun and laughter.
This workshop is on Sunday 28th April 2019 10.00am – 2.00pm, at The Great Escape Game St James House Vicar Road Sheffield, S1 2EX. Only £30 for this half-day workshop, which is payable in advance.
